Common questions
Daystride shows zero steps
Open iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Daystride and confirm Steps is enabled. Daystride only reads from Apple Health, so the toggle controls whether the app sees anything. If you've just installed the app, a few minutes can pass before HealthKit indexes today's first samples.
The widget hasn't updated
Widgets refresh on iOS's schedule. Opening the Daystride app once forces a fresh snapshot. If the widget still shows old data after opening the app, removing and re-adding the widget will fix it.
I changed my goal but past days didn't change
That's intentional — past days stay evaluated against the goal that was active on that day. Today's ring uses the new goal immediately.
